Company history
MAJK s.r.o. is a company that has been providing rubber and plastic products of the highest quality since 1996. However, the roots of the company go back even further, to 1992, when the founder, Ján Kukuľa, started to produce soft PVC profiles for his own use. Later, he began to sell these profiles commercially and in 1992, with the purchase of new technology, production began seals made of microporous EPDM rubber.
As the company grew and the number of employees increased, it was necessary to change the legal form to a limited liability company. In 2001, the company managed to buy the premises it had previously rented and obtained ISO 9002 quality management certification. This certificate ensures that the company maintains the highest quality standards in all aspects of production and operation.
2001
In 2001, the company managed to purchase the previously leased premises and at the same time obtained the ISO 9002 quality management certificate, which ensures increasing quality not only in the area of production and product control, but also affects all processes taking place in the company.
2002 - 2003
In 2002, the company launched a new type of compact rubber seals (EPDM, NBR, SBR) and began to diversify its activities into tourism by building the MAJK guesthouse. In the same year, the company also managed to modernise its production capacity by adding thermoplastics to its product line. This new development was recognised in 2003 when the company passed a recertification audit and was awarded the ISO 9001 quality management certificate.
2006 - 2007
In 2006, MAJK s.r.o. celebrated the 10th anniversary of its foundation with the addition of new warehouse premises and a loading ramp. The company continued to invest in its growth and development, purchasing a process line and renovating the guest house in 2007.
The year 2007 brought the purchase of a technological line and the reconstruction of the MAJK guesthouse.
2011
In 2011, a reconstructed technological line for the production of pressed seals was purchased.
2014
In 2014, the company added waterjet cutting technology, expanding its capabilities to include flat-cut gaskets.
2015 - 2016
In 2015, MAJK s.r.o. continued its commitment to innovation by purchasing new rubber and plastics production lines and saying goodbye to older, less efficient machines.
In 2016, the company celebrated its 20th anniversary.
2017 - 2021
In 2017, a new plastics line and a brand new warehouse in a separate building were added. In 2018, we again successfully expanded our production capabilities by processing VMQ silicone profiles. In 2019, the company built a new production hall and purchased an additional rubber production line with coextrusion capability. The latest milestone for MAJK Ltd. came in 2021 when it purchased a company with a long history of manufacturing molded products.
